I remember seeing a couple bits of this being shared with me by some of my friends over a couple years, really neat seeing all it come together like this. The composition's also a bop as well.

For the record the son of a bitch still hasn't changed lmao, he's been banned from multiple areas for being a pedo and a homophobe, and overall a complete pervert.

Man I can't imagine how much time this took to make. I typically have more to say but really I'm just awe struck.

It took about 2 weeks give or take, I worked on it on and off with other projects.

There's so much to this game to love here, from character design, both Ase and the surreal looking enemies, the music, and overall game play, it's all ready damn solid. Chaining together Magnet Punches or jumping out of them felt extremely satisfying. The environments themselves were also rather captivating, I found myself really engaging with the areas I was in (the new ad campaign gag was pretty humorous too). I only really have two complaints, the first being that there's no coyote time implemented (or I suppose in this case it would be jerboa time), and it's not immediately obvious the water is rising at the end (which could probably be better signified by a simple screen shake). You can also clip out of the first area after the tutorial room by going backwards. With all that said though, these really weren't enough to take me out of the game, I thoroughly enjoyed my time.

Coyote time is in there, at least I remember it being in there, but it might be a little subtle

Addictive games are often rather simple, but with such a basic premise, I didn't expect myself to be drawn so into the game. It's just that damn fun. Additionally, there's a VVVVVV type vibe coming from the game, spanning from the music, graphics, gameplay, and even the name of the game itself. Overall, a charming little experience.

Honestly really damn solid game, even if it is just a small test build. Music and art slap, level design ain't bad either. Wall jumps could be a bit snappier and I have a bit of difficulty getting off walls after sliding. (There was another criticism I had thought of but I can't remember it now lol)

Sonic CD is far from perfect, but it's pretty alright if you're willing to learn it's quirks (coming from a Sonic fan lol).
That aside, I absolutely love how the background captures the aesthetic of the Japanese box art for the classic Sonic games, and the little emotes the two do are great addition as well. If I had to make one critique, it's that Amy and Metal's colors seem a bit desaturated compared to the background, and really, it's not that big of a deal. This is just a lovely and charming work.

Personally I think the contrast looks nice, but hey we all have different tastes!

Typically I'd suggest looking in the Internet Archive if they have the files for the games, but considering current events, might be awhile before you can check. Still, a lovely little tribute, reminds me of the ending screens in the classic Sonic games.
