[False Front Fan Art]

Only on the second song on the album as of writing this, but I'm really digging the music here. The fact that you want out of your way to make an entire album for something that was never released speaks volumes to me about your passion. The art itself reminds me quite a bit of the earlier stuff on this site, especially MindChamber, but there's also a lot of polish here that many of those older works lacked. As a whole, some good shit here. My only problem is that I desperately need to know where I can find the rest of False Front's stuff lol.

Sonic CD is far from perfect, but it's pretty alright if you're willing to learn it's quirks (coming from a Sonic fan lol).
That aside, I absolutely love how the background captures the aesthetic of the Japanese box art for the classic Sonic games, and the little emotes the two do are great addition as well. If I had to make one critique, it's that Amy and Metal's colors seem a bit desaturated compared to the background, and really, it's not that big of a deal. This is just a lovely and charming work.

Thanks, as for the central effect it was supposed to be a flash of light, but drawn in a more crude way

Oh shit I didn't realize you were here too! I picked up the first vol of Codex Black when the public library was giving away free books. Needless to say it's stuck with me, I'm excited to see what comes next!

Although pullin on his belly button is kinda weird, I could totally see him blowing up into a balloon as a powerup or alternative character in the game. Wonderful animation.

However, Puffer from the same game does, as his special ability!

Looks good for the most part, I'm just really taken aback by why the characters are in mismatching art styles.

I was trying to recreate the angry birds art style to get the nostalgia part, but yeah I’d question why some of the art is in different styles myself
